Over 15 years later I am still here and still happy

On a Saturday morning fifteen years ago my wife and I went to the Audi dealer to trade in my A4 for a newer model. While waiting to visit with our trusted salesman my wife suggested that I take out a TT roadster for entertainment. On the surface it was aesthetically pleasing but the real pleasure came when I took it for a test drive. It was awesome fun to drive and its overall performance was superb. After the drive I discovered that my wife had gone to the dealer several days earlier and purchased it for me. I still drive it everyday and its performance, hidden beneath an attractive design, is still terrific.

I have had a similar experience with Robert Baxter and his team at Surgeon’s Advisor. I first met Robert over 20 years ago when I chaired an AAFPRS committee that was charged with selecting a developer for the Academy’s first web site. Robert’s proposal was the best, and his crew created the first of several iterations of the Academy web site.

Given this rewarding experience with him, and his thoughtful approach to our needs, we recruited him to design a site for our office that same year. We have gone through several design changes and 4 years ago we hired a local marketing group to redesign the entire office aesthetic. Robert’s team worked with them to integrate the new look with a productive and rewarding web site infrastructure. An attractive web site that has poor visibility is not what you need. The Surgeon’s Advisor team did a great job of making our site visible in our community. More importantly, however, they continue to refine and upgrade the site as the internet search protocols change. They provide monthly performance reports and suggestions for enhancements. In our partnership with them the only shortcoming has been on our end. For example, they would like more quality video content that we need to create with patients and it is challenging to find the necessary time. When we get new material to them it gets integrated very quickly. Our office manager has regular conference calls with our Surgeon’s Advisor representative and our web site is the most valuable marketing tool we have. Robert is a knowledgeable creative leader and his values are communicated through his entire team.

Like my sports car, the web site’s performance is its best feature.
