Creating Content That Your Visitors Will Love

January 24, 2013 by Surgeon's Advisor

Most people know by now that content is essential to the success of most websites. Lots of keyword-rich content can get your site to rank high in the search engines and, as a result, bring you lots of targeted traffic. By providing content that is also valuable and helpful, you can satisfy your visitors and keep them on your site longer. Further, by regularly updating your content and adding fresh, new content, you can encourage visitors to return to your site time and again.

When it comes to your plastic surgeon website, building a site with lots of content is relatively easy as there are a great many topics that you can cover. In fact, there is far more potential content than many other websites out there. For instance, a site selling picture frames would likely be more limited in its potential subject matter, making the creation of lots of content somewhat challenging.

Some content is better than others. The very best content will keep your visitors staying longer on your site and coming back for more. The following are a few great content ideas that your visitors are sure to love:

  • How To Articles. How To articles are great because they can be very helpful for your visitors. You can provide step-by-step instructions on a variety of topics, such as How To Find A Qualified Plastic Surgeon’, How To Prepare For Your Rhinoplasty Procedure’, and so on.
  • Useful Tips. Tips can be very appealing. They’re generally brief, about a paragraph or so, and contain very useful information. One example might be an article on Tips For Quicker Recoveries’.
  • Top Ten Lists. There are number of ideas that you can put in the form of a Top Ten List. Of course, it can also be a top five list or top eight list or so on. A good example might be The Top Ten Ways To Ensure Your Plastic Surgery Success.
  • News. You can add a feature that highlights plastic surgery related news. This may include updates in new techniques, new procedures, and so on.
  • Interviews. Consider including interviews from previous patients about their experiences with plastic surgery. These could prove very interesting for your patients. Other ideas might include interviews with staff members, an interview with you, an interview with an anesthesiologist, and so on.
  • Visuals And Audio-Video. Visual content like photos, graphs, charts and so on and even audio or video can be very beneficial when used to help explain, show or support your content. For instance, you might include visuals or video for an article detailing the actual surgery of a particular procedure.
