The Internet is relatively young and constantly changing. What may have worked one month, may not work the next. As such, a good Internet marketing strategy is one that can change or shift as needed. Lots of people don’t like to hear this. They don’t like to learn that an original marketing plan must be abandoned in favor of something else.
It’s simple. By sticking with a strategy that isn’t getting good results, you simply get more of the same. Instead, if an Internet strategy is working you stick with it, but if not you then have to change it. All humans learn this early on, you continue to do those things that result in a positive outcome and abandon those that end in a negative one. If you touch a hot stove and get burned, you’ll likely learn not to touch the stove again when it’s on, or at least to use a potholder the next time that you do.
That’s why it’s very important in plastic surgery marketing on the Internet to continuously monitor cause and effect and to pay attention to the results. Determine those things that work and stick with them, shift away from those that don’t. Remember, the Internet is constantly evolving and we must learn to evolve with it.
