How in depth should I go?

I read previous posts about content on websites and how that is good for the search engines as well as site visitors. How in depth should my writing be? Do I need to write paragraph after paragraph or should I condense it?

The best approach is to write your content so it is easily followed. You never want to use terms that are not common language. For example, many people know what eyelid surgery is but may not realize the procedures medical term is known as a Blepharoplasty. Keeping it simple and to the point is always the best approach.
