Difference between marketing and advertising

I noticed that you have different forums for advertising and marketing, and different forums for cosmetic and plastic surgery. What is the difference?

We set up different forums because they each deal with specific facets of their topic. For instance, when we use MARKETING, we are referring to search engine marketing or search engine optimization. When we use the term ADVERTISING, conversely, we are referring to online advertising methods, like banner ads and pay-per-click.

Further, we have broken the forums up to deal with either plastic surgery procedures (e.g. rhinoplasty, facelift, etc.) or cosmetic surgery procedures (e.g. injectables, Botox, etc.). Hopefully this answers your question!
