Do you recemmend advertising in the online yellow pages? Is that an effective way to get the word out about your site?

The online yellow pages can be an effective way to advertise your site, just like other websites can be. Through our experience, we've seen that informational sites that focus on a given topic (for instance rhinoplasty) provide significantly better results than advertising on phone book sites. There seem to be more searches that result in more people, and the people have an opportunity to research and read a lot of content first. This almost helps to pre-qualify them. Still, nothing is better than advertising your own site aggressively. This has proven again and again to provide the best results possible. Good luck with your advertising efforts!
