Loading time

My site takes about 12 seconds to load. Does that seem like a long time? Is there a standard load time that is acceptible?

Websites should load within 8 seconds or sooner. If your site loads slower then that, the first place to look is at your graphics. Too many graphics or images that are large file sizes are usually the cause for slow load times.
