Using FAQs To Market Your Plastic Surgery Practice
While there are many forms of content that can be included on your website, FAQs, or frequently asked questions, can be very beneficial for a variety of reasons. Your patients no doubt have many of the same questions and concerns, and many of your answers are probably the same as well. For instance, patients may frequently ask how rhinoplasty is performed or what the risks of breast augmentation are or what type of anesthesia is used with facelift surgery or how long the recovery is after liposuction. FAQs can save you a lot of time by providing answers just once to many of those more commonly asked questions. In addition, visitors on your website can immediately get answers to many of their questions, and on their own time. Another benefit of FAQS is that they can serve as a great marketing tool. Though you should have an index or table of contents that lists all of your FAQs in one place, these should be linked to separate pages, one page for each question and answer. This provides you with an excellent opportunity to target a variety of keywords. In fact, each individual page can target a different keyword or a different set of keywords. This will result in better search engine rankings for your targeted keywords and ultimately more traffic. FAQs can be created quickly and easily. Begin by compiling a list of your more frequently asked questions and your usual answers. It's best to try to categorize these to make it easier for your visitors to find what they're looking for. For instance, you might categorize them by procedure and also have another category for questions about you and your practice. Make sure that you use your targeted keywords in your text. As for design, it's often best to keep each FAQ page simple so you don't need to use any fancy design elements or even graphics. However, if your FAQ relates to another page on your website, be sure to include a link to that page as well as to your homepage. |
