Get Your Articles To Work Harder For You
When it comes to cosmetic surgeon marketing, or marketing of any business for that matter, articles are an excellent tool for promoting your website. You can write helpful, informative articles which you then post on your website and submit to any of the 400,000 plus e-zines across the Internet. These articles help to establish you as an expert and can bring lots of targeted traffic to your site.
Once you've got a good number of articles written, there are several things that you can do to make them work harder for you, including the following:
- Optimize and submit your articles. When publishing your articles on your website, give each one its own page. Make sure that you create good, individual meta tags for each article, using the specific keywords that you've targeted. When that's done, you can then submit your articles to the search engines.
- Expand upon your articles. Take the articles you've already written and pull out text that you can expand upon or get more specific with. For instance, you may have written an article about the complications associated with breast augmentation which touched on capsular contracture. You can then take that bit on capsular contracture, expand upon it, and create a whole other article. Similarly, you can take your articles and get more specific with them. If you've written an article about preparing for plastic surgery, you can recycle that article, maybe change or add a few things, and make it a separate article about preparing for rhinoplasty.
- Create a series of articles. This is similar to the previous point, though instead of simply creating one article you can create a series of articles. Again, take the example of an article about the complications associated with breast augmentation. Rather than simply expanding upon capsular contracture, expand upon each one and make them a separate article within a series. You can post these on your site and submit them to e-zines as a series.
