Surgeon's Advisor Launches Newly Redesigned AAFPRS Website
Surgeon's Advisor is excited about the launch of the new website for the American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (AAFPRS). The new AAFPRS.org website is both aesthetically-pleasing and technologically advanced. With customized sections for prospective patients, physicians, and media, each and every facet of the site is designed to offer the highest level of one-to-one marketing possible. There is now a significant focus on funneling prospective patients to member surgeons, in the most targetted manner possible. The site utilizes information about each browser session to determine what content and member surgeons they should be exposed to. To do this, each page "reads" information about each visitor: what website they arrived from, what search term they used at a search engine, and where they are located geographically. Then, content is displayed specific to their needs. As such, a patient from Des Moines interested in rhinoplasty will be shown focused information that is different from a patient from New Jersey interested in blepharoplasty.
A prospective patient need not even utilize the surgeon finder, because a list of nearby surgeons will be displayed on every page of the site (for prospective patients only), thereby greatly increasing the chances that they will actually click on a member listing. These members will be rotated so that both paid members and non-paid members are displayed in a fair and equitable manner. What's more, this geotargetting technology even extends to the photo gallery. If, for example, a prospective patient living in Houston searches for rhinoplasty in Google, then visits the AAFPRS website and clicks on the photo gallery, it will automatically display rhinoplasty photos, in order of the proximity to the visitor. As such, the nearest member surgeon who has submitted photos will display their photos first, with another link to their website. Additional photos are displayed based on distance from the visitor.
These technologies, along with very comprehensive reporting tools, enable the AAFPRS to function as a superior lead generator for member surgeons. At the same time, it will present a professional and intuitive layout for all visitors.
